I dearly love cartoons and animations to date

I took it as a fabulous compliment when I heard that I act like a cartoon character. But it makes me wonder if my fondness for cartoons and animations is now being displayed as cartoonish quirks.

Let me give you proper context. I grew up watching Sesame Street, Tom and Jerry, Looney Tunes, Cartoon Network, The Flintstones, The Jetsons, The Simpsons, and so much more. As I grew older, I moved on to full length animated movies such as Lion King, Hercules, Beauty and the Beast, Mulan, Aladdin, Tangled, Despicable Me, Trolls, The Boss Baby, The Lego Movie, Sing, The Secret Life of Pets, Moana, Frozen. I can go on and on…

Here’s more, I had an entire animated movies collection on my external hard drive before it crashed. Furthermore, I have a Cartoon Tunes playlist of 121 songs from many cartoon soundtracks on Apple Music. It is presumably a foregone conclusion from the above that I have cartoons and animations in my DNA. And it may manifest in quirky cartoonish mannerisms from time to time.

5. Cinderella Complex – Cinderella appears to have a complex named after her. In the article, 5 Psychological Conditions Named for Disney Characters, “a person, typically a woman, with Cinderella Complex is very dependent on men for emotional and financial purposes.” It also refers to a condition where a woman fears true independence and secretly desires a Prince Charming to come along and take care of her. The condition gained public attention from Collette Downing’s book, The Cinderella Complex: Women’s Hidden Fear of Independence. Please note that this is not an officially recognized psychological disorder.
